Bettina joined the Chair in September 2009. Her role is to support new venture acticities
and to set up an operational incubation system for new high-tech businesses out of Saxonian institutes.

Professional Interests

• Business Incubation: idea screening, mentoring and operational processes to bring R&D to the market
• Venture Capital for HighTech Start ups: access to and effectiveness of seed funding
• E-Health: mobile health applications based on measuring and monitoring vital functions

Dipl. Kffr. (FH) Bettina Vossberg has worked since 1989 in the Mobile Industry. She studied at the Fachhochschule Köln Business Administration and graduated in 1991 with her thesis on a commercial subject in mobile communications: „ Marketing Strategies for Service Provision and the Distribution of Handsets for the German GSM-Network”. As a Senior Manager at industrial groups - Daimler Benz Group and Deutsche Telekom - she was responsible for developing telecoms business in Europe and South-East-Asia. She is a true specialist in business strategy and after co-founding an international mobile applications incubator she became even more passionate about bringing operational order to start ups and innovation management.
